“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; Let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation”
Psalm 95: 1 (NIV)
As a child growing up in Sunday School, I found a love of singing for the Lord. That same love of singing would go with me as an adult. I soon found that people could be reached through the words of a song when it seemed there wasn’t any other way of reaching them. As a young Father, it was an honor for me to get to sing with my young daughter on Sunday morning in worship at our home church. We sang the song “Angels Among Us”. That duet together would soon lead us into singing more during the worship services. Eventually I would go on to singing solo. I began seeing people reached by the words and music of a song. I decided to start traveling so as to share that message with more people. After a few years of being out on my own I took on the job of Music/Choir Director at our home church. I filled that position for 10 years then joined a Gospel Quartet as their lead singer. I traveled with the quartet for 4 ½ years and felt the Lord calling me back to solo singing. I needed to be where He wanted me to be and singing where He wanted me to sing, singing what he was leading me to sing. I have been solo singing again now for about 5 years and brings me to where I am today. I feel it an Honor to be able to share the message in song and letting the Lord lead. You see, I do believe that there is an empty grave; and I do believe that there is a power that saves; and I KNOW that His grace is real and it is that grace that I sing about and want to share with the world through song. There is a world that needs to be saved. I thank Him for allowing me to be a part of that.
In His Service
